Task
Process pieces of epoxy composite into a fraction of 0 – 100 microns (0 – 0.100 mm) and prepare samples from this fraction for further testing.
Process and Results
First, the incoming material had to be crushed to the optimum fraction for micronisation, with a particle size ≤ 5 mm. This material was then micronised to the fraction required by the customer and the samples were prepared.
